Bringing seasonal cheer to Barking Riverside, BRL will host a Winter Warm Up event on Wednesday 6th December at the brand-new Visitor Centre in Station Square.
Taking place between 6pm and 9:30pm, guests will enjoy a medley of festive delights whilst mingling with friends and neighbours. Whether it’s unwinding with a drink courtesy of Meetini, indulging in a delectable grazing board from Olive and Pickle, or tapping into a creative flow at the crafts corner, the event promises to be filled with seasonal cheer.
One of the event’s highlights is the gift-wrapping station manned by the expert team from Let’s Get It Wrapped. Guests can bid farewell to the stresses of last-minute present wrapping as the professionals work their magic with ribbon and paper – simply bring your unwrapped presents along with you and the Let’s Get It Wrapped team will sort the rest!
For those eager to explore their creative side, Lucy from House of Loulee, a fantastic local Barking Riverside brand, will lead drop-in workshops to teach guests to craft their own festive baubles. Local DJ ‘The King’s Decree’ will soundtrack the evening with an array of party tunes and festive hits.
As the night unfolds, the Meetini team will stir up delightful cocktails, warming mulled wine as well as beer and soft drinks for guests to purchase throughout the evening.
Each ticket entitles guests to one ‘welcome’ drink from Meetini, an individual grazing cup, crafts with House of Loulee and unlimited Christmas present wrapped with Let’s Get it Wrapped.
The newly opened Visitor Centre is situated on the ground floor of the Barking Riverside Overground Station and can be accessed via Station Square. A portion of the event will take place outside, so guests are advised to dress warmly and be prepared for the weather.
